
Catherine Jane Ford, born 5 December 1969 is a famous English comedian writer, actress, and actor. Tate has won numerous awards for her performances on the BBC sketch comedy show The Catherine Tate Show (2004-2007), as well as being nominated for an International Emmy Award and seven BAFTAs. Tate played Donna Noble in Doctor Who's Christmas special in 2006. She then reprised her role as the Tenth Doctor's frequent companion for the fourth series. [2] Following The Catherine Tate Show's success, Tate played Joanie Taylor ("Nan") on the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015) as well as in The Nan Movie (2022). She began playing Nellie Bertram, a frequent role on The Office's U.S. version, in the year 2011. She continued to be a regular character until the finale of the series. She played Miss Sarah Postern (2013-2014), and Magica de Spell (2017-2021) in the BBC One sitcom Big School. Tate was in six roles on Hard Cell, the Netflix comedy series she wrote with her co-writer as well as co-directed.
