At the age of nine when she began acting in commercials. When she graduated from high school, she and her family moved into Los Angeles to pursue acting. Kat Dennings, as she was referred to at the time was a student at the time, and began to audition. Kat Dennings was the first actress to make her debut on HBO's "Sex and the City", in 2000, following her move to LA. In 2000, Kat Dennings starred in "Sex and City" on HBO.
