Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of fourteen. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd then went on to win three fights within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated had been defeated in the first five minutes. Ladd went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 and signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta 16, she was able to go up to Bantamweight after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen used the superior skills she had learned in wrestling to beat McGill. She ended her bout via an KO (3rd round) (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) since Ladd did not reach her weight, but Aspen defeated Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina and ground-and-pounded her for a second-round TKO victory. She maintained her dominance and picked up an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger at UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd defeated Evinger to the punch in the first round she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. She fought her first big fight in the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd took home an unanimous decision in an intense back and forth battle between the two fighters, got the Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. Following a brief break after which she went on to beat Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. Her most recent bout for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. She lost the fight via majority decision.
