Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American producer stage and screen actress best known for her film roles on the film Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She earned the B.A. from African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer who is active in theater, film as well as television. She began her career acting in the theatre and then went on to make appearances in numerous TV shows, both mainstream and independent films. The actress gained prominence for her role as Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. After that, she was able to make an appearance in BET's epic television series The Book of Negroes. In 1995 she debuted in the role of Ariel on stage as Ariel in The Tempest. Stage credits comprise Come and Gone Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis, a Broadway production of Joe Turner. Her film career is highlighted by her roles in Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express, and The Help. Her part as a regular in the drama series High Incident on ABC High Incident earned her praises.
